Return Policy

This policy explains your right to withdraw from a distance contract (right of withdrawal), how to return products, and how we process refunds. It complements our Terms of Service and applies to consumers in the European Union (including the Netherlands) in accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive and Dutch consumer law.

2. Right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) acquire physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. You may:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the 14-day period has expired. We will send you an acknowledgment of your withdrawal (e.g. by email) without undue delay.

3. Effects of withdrawal and return of goods

If you withdraw from the contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed to bear such costs or we have failed to inform you that you must bear them.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. In other words, you may unpack and inspect the product as you would in a shop, but if you use the product beyond what is necessary to establish that it works (e.g. consume a significant part of it), we may deduct an amount for diminished value or refuse reimbursement where permitted by law. We will inform you of any such deduction before processing the refund.

5. Return address and packaging

Please return the goods to the address we provide when we acknowledge your withdrawal. We will send you return instructions (including the exact address and any reference number to include) by email. Please pack the product securely to avoid damage in transit. We recommend using a trackable delivery service and keeping proof of postage. We are not responsible for loss or damage during return until the goods reach us.

6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

Under EU and Dutch law, the right of withdrawal does not apply in certain cases, including (where applicable):

7. Defective or incorrect products

If the product you received is defective, not as described, or we sent the wrong item, you have statutory rights (e.g. repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under Dutch sale of goods law). In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and a description (and, if possible, photos) of the issue. We will arrange return at our cost where appropriate and will refund or replace in accordance with the law. This is without prejudice to your 14-day right of withdrawal described above.

8. Refund timing and method

Refunds will be made to the same payment method you used for the order, unless we have agreed otherwise. We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice (or, if later, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or proof of return). Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few additional business days for the amount to appear in your account. If you have not received the refund within a reasonable time, please contact us and we will investigate.
